The idea questions traditional footwear at the forefoot that pushes the first toe (big toe) up and in. Instead it should be the widest part of the shoe and the heel and forefoot should be in a horizontal plane. Traditional footwear according to correct toes has secondary effects that restrict blood flow and decrease proper foot mechanics.
The result can be dysfunction and consequently conditions may develop such as plantar fascitis(osis) and decreased circulation. I have read some of the materials and watched numerous videos from the correct toes you tube channel and find the information at the least interesting and want to try out a pair of the correct toes for myself and get the clinicians involved.
I will report back with our experiences with this product at a later date.
