Graston Technique

4/4/2018

Healthview is a Graston Provider

We are pleased to offer Graston Technique at Healthview Therapy Centre. Dr. Robert Muir and Kylynn Hill are both Graston certified practitioners. Graston Technique is a soft tissue mobilization technique utilizing specially designed tools to assist athletes and individuals with their injuries.

When scar tissue is present, or when a practitioners hands can't get deep enough, the Graston tools help to reach the areas that are bothering a patient and help heal the tissues. Using the Graston tools puts the practitioner at an advantage owing to the design of the tools. The tools are able to conform to certain parts of the body better than ones hands alone. The Graston tools also carry a “different” sensation back to the practitioner allowing us to better diagnose and find restrictions (a.k.a. scar tissue) that can lead to dysfunction in muscles, ligaments, tendons and connective tissue.
