After a successful Track and Field career that saw Brent attend Murray State University on a full scholarship in 1979 he returned home and after a few years began working for D's Mitch and Dave Cosman at Professional Foot Orthotics and began to learn all aspects of the orthoses business from clinical assessment, patient care and manufacturing of the devices for their patients. After working for them for five years Brent opened his own clinic in 1989 in a one room office on the second floor of the Doctors building on Graham Avenue. In February of 1992 he moved unto the 4th floor of The Bay downtown where Prothotics/Healthwest thrived until March 2020. Prothotics has since relocated to Enfield Crescent. Brent continues to deliver products and services of the highest caliber.
